Last year we were saddened to hear that Chandler’s Ford United Reformed Church had closed for worship.  However, we are pleased that its musical contribution to worship lives on, evidence of which can now be found in our church.

Thanks are due to Ian, Derek and Kirsty for their endeavours to test, move the Allen organ from Chandler’s Ford to Romsey and successfully oversee it installed at Romsey; also, to Peter Langley, previous member of Chandlers Ford URC and Stuart McLean from Wessex Synod Trust for their help in making this possible.   By the time you read this we will have heard the organ contribute to our worship.  May it serve us well.

Thanks also to Andy and Graham for providing a scaffold tower and  assistants to  move the speakers from Chandler’s Ford to Romsey.
