We are very much a community, connected by many things; our faith, our support for others less fortunate but we are also very much a social community and there are many groups that meet simply as friends.

The Lunch Club brings together members from both churches and people from the local community for a tasty home cooked meal and socializing. It's focus is on reaching out to older people in the community. It is run by members of the church and meets once a month in Abbey Hall, usually the 2nd Tuesday of each month, and presently costs £4.50. Bereavement and Loss meetings are held in the Abbey Hall lounge from 10.30am till noon. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat in a relaxed environment.
BALM (Bereavement and Loss Meeting) gathers on the 2nd Monday of each month.
MOT (Moving On Together) meets on the third Monday of each month.

Over tea or coffee and delicious cake we chat, muse and plan for the future Our aim is to provide an informal atmosphere for grieving people to create new friendships in a sharing situation. MOT is for those ready to be involved in a more active meeting. New members to both groups will be warmly welcomed.
