Abbey United Reformed Church, Romsey

Thank you

Romsey Food Bank reported that they gave a total of 270 Christmas sacks to children from Youth in Romsey, Romsey Young Carers and Romsey Family Support. In addition, 65 Christmas goody bags were given out to families / individuals who either accessed the foodbank on December or needed some extra help.

Finally, the Food Bank supported 40 families through schools with additional food over Christmas. Thank you to all whose donations made this possible.

2018 started with 500kg of food donated, the majority via Waitrose. Currently they have very few shortages but would like to receive sachets of powdered milk, long life fruit juice, sugar, sponge puddings and toiletries [shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toilet rolls]. These can be brought to our service on Sunday 4 February and left in the baskets at the back of church, or dropped in the basket at Waitrose when you are shopping.
