Discussion Groups

We regularly hold a discussion group or Bible Study on the 1st Sunday of the month on zoom. You will find the link in the What's On this week section at the side of the Home Page.

Do come and join us – everybody is welcome!

Through the month of January, we shared in a new Zoom Bible Study/ Discussion Group using the Holy Habits resource on ‘Fellowship’. One surprising thing was that, reflecting on Luke’s writing in Acts 2 beginning at verse 42, we read that the new Christians devoted themselves to fellowship. Have we usually thought of fellowship as something that just happens when we gather together in worship or socially? The word ‘devoted’ implies a good deal of energy and dedication is needed for true fellowship to happen. For Christian fellowship is not about meeting together in closed groups, but about being open to all – and that kind of unconditional welcome can be challenging! We will share a one-off Bible study on the evening of the first Sunday in February at 6.30pm, then a Lenten course beginning on 6 March, same time, on Zoom. Everyone is welcome to join in.
