Agape communion service Maundy Thursday 10.30

Agape love is the highest form of love. Agape is the Greek word used for the sacrificial love by which Jesus gave his life in love for the world’s redemption. The Church Fathers used agape to be a meal of fellowship to which the poor were invited (Jude 1:12).  Our Maundy Thursday Communion this week (10.30 am in Abbey Hall Lounge) will take the form of an Agape meal, a very good way for Christian people to enjoy one another’s company as Jesus did with his friends.  All welcome!
