In celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the church held a Bring & Share lunch after the morning service on 5 June. The service included welcoming Val Lloyd into membership and the induction of Elders. Such a special service and the toys in the Rainbow Room kept my two young grandchildren very occupied until their tummies rumbled.
It was a joy to attend the lunch with them, and they were most impressed with their medals, thank you Chris and Stella. They loved being able to go up and choose their food; it was all scrummy with the bonus of social chat. Thank you to all the organisers.
